NFF to spend N5.6 billion in 2021; approves Jan. 16, Feb. 10 resumption dates for NNL, NLO

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF will spend the sum of N5,625,942,790.00 (five Billion, six hundred and twenty-five million, nine hundred and forty-two thousand, seven hundred and ninety naira) as budget for the year 2021.
The budgetory allocation was proposed by the federation at its Executive Committee meeting on Monday.
“The Executive Committee approved the Financial Statement of the Federation for the year 2020, as well as the proposed Budget of the sum of N5,625,942,790.00 for the year 2021,” a statement by the federation read.
Meanwhile, the NFF has also approved the resumption dates of 2021 Nigeria National League, NNL and the Nationwide League One, NLO to be Januray 16 and February 10, 2021, respectively. ....

The Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation has unanimously granted congressional endorsement to the candidacy of its president, Amaju Melvin Pinnick for a seat on the FIFA Council in the next elections slated for Morocco in March 2021.
It will be recalled that Pinnick had earlier disclosed his intention to vie for membership of the FIFA Council and will be looking to replace Guinea’s Almamy Kabele Camara on the council.
The 37-member FIFA Council is the main decision-making body of the world football body that sets the vision for FIFA and global football. ....

The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation met on Monday, 28th December 2020 to deliberate on important issues in Nigerian Football and resolved as follows:
1) The meeting commenced with a one-minute silence in honour of the Member of the Executive Committee, Hon. Emmanuel Ibah, who passed on Tuesday, 15
th December 2020 in the Akwa Ibom State capital, Uyo after a brief illness. Members prayed for the repose of his soul and for the Almighty God to grant his family, friends, relations, the Akwa Ibom State football family, the NFF and the Nigerian Football family at large the fortitude to bear the big loss. ....
