AN ORGANISED Crime Gang has had cash amounts totalling €16.5 million seized as Spain’s Guardia Civil delivered Operation Jumita.
The largest cash seizure in Spain’s history also saw 1.6 tonnes of cocaine taken out of distribution.

MoF confirms 1MDB, SRC filed 22 suits to recover RM97bil
KUALA LUMPUR: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) confirmed yesterday legal representatives of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and SRC International Sdn Bhd had filed a total of 22 civil suits to recover RM96.6bil (US$23bil).
In a statement, the MoF said the suits were filed last Friday in the government’s continuing efforts to recover the losses suffered by 1MDB and SRC.
“Six of these writs were filed by 1MDB, while 16 were by SRC for the recovery of assets with a combined total in excess of RM96.60bil (US$23bil), including approximately RM300mil against various local parties, ” it said. ....
