Logistics company signs major lease in Clinton

Tighe Logistics, a Woburn logistics company, has signed a 84,000-square-foot lease at a building in Clinton, according to the real estate information firm CoStar.
Tighe s lease is for 100 Adams Road, a 344,000-square-foot industrial building just north of the town center and next to UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital. The site is owned by Boston-based Marcus Partners, which paid nearly $28 million for the site in 2018.
Tighe, which provides warehousing and transportation services, didn t respond to a message seeking comment.
The logistics and warehouse industry has been fast growing in Central Massachusetts, especially along key sites adjacent to highways that offer easy truck access. ....

Roach named permanent president of HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital

UMass Memorial Health Care announced that Steve Roach has been officially named the president of UMass Memorial HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital in Leominster after serving as interim president since October 2019.
Roach will continue to serve as president of UMass Memorial Marlborough Hospital as well.
“Steve has been an invaluable leader within the UMass Memorial Health Care system for the past seven years,” said Robert Paulhus Jr., chairman of the Hospital Board of Trustees. “He brings immense experience in health care to the position and has certainly shown his expertise leading HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital through such challenging times as the coronavirus pandemic and recovering from financial losses over the last two years. His work at Marlborough Hospital since 2013 helped stabilize that organization and he has brought that same tenacity for improvement to HealthAlliance-Clinton Hospital. IC Federal Credit Union picks UMass hospital exec as new CEO

IC Federal Credit Union in Fitchburg has named Chris Hendry, former senior director of external affairs for UMass Memorial Health Alliance-Clinton, as its new president and CEO, the credit union’s board of directors announced Tuesday.
Hendry has served on IC’s board of directors and supervisory committee since 2014, according to the announcement.
Hendry, who holds an MBA from Fitchburg State University, has served on a variety of local boards, including Fitchburg nonprofits NewVue Communities, Arc of Opportunity and the Fitchburg Art Museum.
Outgoing interim president and CEO Philip Richards, who came out of retirement after previous CEO and president Tony Emerson gave the credit union notice of his departure, will stay on temporarily to ease the leadership transition. ....

UMass Memorial plans to have all caregivers vaccinated by mid-February

UMass Memorial Health Care, the largest employer in Central Massachusetts, plans to have all of its health providers vaccinated against coronavirus by mid-February, a period of roughly two months.
All of the system s caregivers are expected to have at least appointments in place for vaccinations by Jan. 11, according to a memo sent to employees Friday. Those who are providing care directly to COVID-19 patients are going first, followed by those with less contact with virus patients, and then other providers.
In all, UMass Memorial Health Care plans to have all of its caregivers vaccinated by mid-February.
Each Pfizer vaccination requires two doses given three weeks apart. ....
