No Community Cases; 5 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Managed Isolation


There are five new cases of COVID-19 to report
today in recent returnees in managed isolation
facilities.
Two previously reported historical cases,
associated with the Playa Zahara fishing vessel, have now
been reclassified as ‘not a case’. Neither case meets
the current COVID-19 case definition.
As a result,
these cases have been removed from our total cases count and
our historical cases tally.
The number of active cases
in New Zealand is 46.
Since 1 January 2021, there have
been 107 historical cases, out of a total of 694
cases.
The seven-day rolling average of new cases
detected at the border is five.

No Community Cases; 1 Case Of COVID-19 In Managed Isolation

There are no cases of COVID-19 to report in the
community in New Zealand today.
There is one case to
report related to recent returnees in managed isolation
facilities since the Ministry’s update
yesterday.
One previously reported case has now
recovered.
Three previously reported cases have now
been reclassified as under investigation pending a
historical classification investigation. These involve a
case from India reported on 26 June, a case from South
Africa and another from India both reported on 28 June.
These cases have now been removed from New Zealand’s
COVID-19 tally.

There are no new cases of COVID-19 to report in the
community in New Zealand today.
There are two new
cases to report in recent returnees in managed isolation
facilities since the Ministry’s last update
yesterday. 
The seven-day rolling average of new
cases detected at the border is two.
Since 1 January
2021, there have been 76 historical cases, out of a total of
541 cases.
Our total number of confirmed cases is
2,357.
One previously reported case has now recovered
and the total number of active cases in New Zealand today is
24.

No New Community Cases; 6 Cases Of COVID-19 In Managed Isolation


Auckland
One
previously reported case has recovered. The total number of
active cases in New Zealand is 85. Our total number of
confirmed cases is 2,060.
The total number of tests
processed by laboratories to date is 1,801,771.
On
Wednesday, 6,448 tests were processed. The seven-day rolling
average up to yesterday is 7,167 tests processed per
day.
Today’s managed isolation case numbers again
underscore the value of having early testing in place. All
people arriving into New Zealand must remain in their rooms
until those day 0/1 tests results come back.
It’s
also not uncommon to see some of these cases reclassified as
