CIMG Demonstrates Commitment To National Development Through The Launch Of Professional Marketing Qualifications In Ghana


 
The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) has finally unveiled Ghana’s first ever Professional Marketing Qualifications. The launch took place last week at the plush auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) campus.
The colourful ceremony attracted over two hundred (200) guests physically with more than three hundred (300) others joining virtually on Microsoft Teams and another large audience following the event live on various social media platforms, from Ghana, across Africa and elsewhere around the globe.
It will be recalled that CIMG, last year, promised to introduce its own programmes to train and certify professional Marketers locally, upon the passage of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana Act, 2020 (Act 1021) in August 2020. ....

186 Students Receive UCC Dean's Award | Education


 
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) School of Business has awarded 186 students at the Dean’s awards ceremony.
In all, 61 Level 200 students, 75 level 300 and 50 level 400 students were awarded at the event held by the Business Schools globally to recognise and motivate high performing students who obtained first class at the end of each academic year.
The Dean of the UCC School of Business, Prof. John Gatsi, explained that there was about 40 per cent drop in the number of awardees as compared to the 2019 number.
He stated that although deeper analysis of the cause of the drastic fall in the number of awardees was not done, last year was challenging to both students and lecturers in adjusting to new modes of teaching and learning and that might have affected performance. ....
