Die klinische Studie zur Wirkungsweise von TOTUM-63 wurde im Rahmen der globalen strategischen Partnerschaft mit Nestlé Health Science von Valbiotis-Teams, INAF-Experten und Experten von Nestlé Health Science mitgestaltet.
Die Studie soll die Wirkungsweise von TOTUM-63 am Menschen erforschen und zusätzliche Daten liefern, um die wissenschaftliche Kommunikation und die Kommerzialisierung dieses Wirkstoffs auf dem Prädiabetes-Markt zu unterstützen.
Seine Einführung ist für das 4. Quartal 2021 in Kanada geplant. André MARETTE, Professor an der medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Laval und Forscher am INAF, wird der wissenschaftliche Berater sein.

Sarah Evanega, Ph.D. ’09, director of the Cornell Alliance for Science, has been named the 2021 Borlaug CAST Communication Award winner.
The Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) award recognizes outstanding achievement in the advancement of science in the public policy arena in the agricultural, environmental or food sectors.

African think tanks and universities were recently challenged to help shape the narrative on food systems transformation on the continent at a workshop facilitated by Akademiya2063 through its Malabo Montpellier Panel Program.
Akademiya2063 is an African-based non-profit organisation established to expand the portfolio of policy research and to support the implementation of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP).
The Malabo Montpellier Panel is a group of African experts and think tanks supporting the implementation of CAADP.
