New Delhi [India], April 19 (ANI): In view of the alarming rise in the Covid-19 cases in the national capital, the Delhi High Court on Monday ordered that all the judicial officers of the District Courts in Delhi will take up only urgent cases of their respective Courts, through videoconferencing mode.
In view of the alarming rise in the Covid-19 cases in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in continuation of this Court s Office Order No.256/RG/DHC/2021 dated April 8, 2021, it is ordered that all the judicial officers of the District Courts in Delhi shall take up only urgent cases of their respective Courts, through videoconferencing mode, said a public notice issued by Delhi High Court Registrar General Manoj Jain. ....

Delhi High Court on Sunday announced that it will only hear the urgent matters filed in the year 2021 from Monday (April 19) onwards.
The official statement declared that “no routine or non-urgent matters will be taken up for hearing for now.”
New Delhi: Amid an unprecedented surge in COVID-19 infections in the national capital, the Delhi High Court on Sunday announced that it will only hear the urgent matters filed in the year 2021 from Monday (April 19) onwards.

In continuation of this Court’s Office Order No. 223/RG/DHC/2021 dated 8.4.2021, keeping in view the alarming rise in the Covid-19 cases in the NCT of Delhi, it has been ordered that all the Hon’ble Benches of this Court shall, with effect from 19.04.2021, take up extremely urgent matters filed in the year 2021 only,” said an order issued by Registrar General. ....

In view of the ever-rising COVID-19 cases in the national capital, the Delhi High Court on Sunday (April 18) said that it will only hear the urgent matters filed in the year 2021 from Monday (April 19 onwards.

In view of the alarming rise in the Covid 19 cases in the national capital, the Delhi High Court, in continuation of its earlier order dated 8th April 2021, has resolved that it shall take up
extremely urgent matters filed this year only with effect from 19th April 2021.
The order issued on Sunday by Mr. Manoj Jain, Registrar General of the High Court reads thus:
