Nikhil Uzgare is definitely not your conventional indie musician. He is a former microbiologist and is the frontman of the famous Dubai rock act, Point Of View.
His band opened for Guns N’ Roses. Now, he is the first-ever Hindi artiste to make a splash on the Universal Music, Middle East & North Africa (MENA) roster, with the solo release ‘Inteha’.
The Mumbai-born singer-songwriter and composer worked on the song during the lockdown in April 2020 after keeping the basic composition locked away in his mind for almost three years.
Once the track was ready, he shared it with his friend Neeraj Shridhar (of pop group Bombay Vikings fame), who added finishing touches to its mix and master.

Olympic gold medalist gymnast Gabby Douglas is the first-ever winner of “The Masked Dancer,” having scored the show’s diamond mask trophy after being revealed as Cotton Candy.
Douglas was victorious despite facing off with two trained dancers in the finale. Runner-up Sloth turned out to be “Dancing with the Stars’” Maksim Chmerkovskiy. And in third place was Tulip, who was revealed to be Mackenzie Ziegler (“Dance Moms”).

Douglas was unmasked after dancing to “This Is Me,” by Kesha. The panelists were torn between whether the Cotton Candy was a gymnast or an ice skater. Paula Abdul figured out it was Gabby Douglas, while Ashley Tisdale named her teammate Simone Biles. Brian Austin Green thought it was Tara Lapinski, Ken Jeong named Michelle
returned Wednesday, where the Final Five duked it out for a chance to stay in the competition. After some seriously impressive performances all around, Exotic Bird had to fly the coop.

Mumbai, Jan 16 : Singer Neeraj Shridhar, who has given multiple indie pop and Bollywood hits, besides remixes, says that when he remixed songs it was to revive the beauty of the old songs. Music that is happening today is a mixture of good and bad. This is not true that good music doesn t exist. It is still available and everyone is appreciating it. Low level music is also available in the market because we think we can commercialise a song and make a remix version of an old song, and it will do well and that is the best method for success, Neeraj told IANS.
