The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Monday at 11 a.m.
Alaina Adams, 23, no address given, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff s Office, drug court violation.
Bridgette Bady, 44, no address given, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff s Office, drug court violation.
Donale Antonio Brown, 34, no address given, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, simple assault on an officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, possession of paraphernalia.
Randell Curtis Brown, 52, no address given, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff s Office, capias for sexual battery.
Sharoski Ivy, 23, no address give, was arrested by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, violation of probation. ....

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - With Easter Sunday approaching, churches are preparing to handle large crowds safely.
Nettleton Baptist Church has been slowly working to get to the point where they can conduct in-person Easter services.
The church plans not to have a mask requirement, so more people are encouraged to come.
However, they will plan to keep social distancing guidelines in place to ensure the safety of members and their guests.
In the event the sanctuary gets overcrowded, Pastor Brady Canright has a contingency plan in place. ....

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Transportation directors at Jonesboro and Nettleton Public Schools are doing everything they can to prevent them from becoming victims of catalytic converter thefts.
When buses are not operating, they are kept at the schools’ bus shops.
The shops are enclosed by a barbed-wire fence and locked after hours with 24-hour surveillance cameras.
Transportation directors say that the buses’ catalytic converters are too heavy for a person to carry, so they are not too concerned about them. ....

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Dozens of teachers from both Westside and Nettleton School Districts filled the gym at Fellowship Jonesboro Thursday, all of them lining up to receive the COVID vaccine.
This comes days after Jonesboro pharmacies were delayed in beginning Phase 1-B of the state’s vaccine rollout plan. Woodsprings Pharmacy received their doses Tuesday, with 975 vaccines distributed between five pharmacies.
Lacey Hoggard, Operations Manager at Woodsprings, says the pharmacy was glad to help teachers and those over 70 when the vaccines started to roll in. ....
