Dudley News readers have got in touch with their pictures of bad parking around Dudley. This comes after it was revealed new laws could be coming into force in the UK to ban parking on pavements. One reader sent in a number of photographs of two vehicles parked on the junction of Sedgley Hall Avenue and Netherby Road in Dudley. The reader claims the cars featured are owned by the same resident and causes a lot of disruption at busier times. One car is parked opposite a junction and another parked on the junction. The issue was discussed at an online Arthuret Parish Council meeting on Monday evening. Karen Johnson. parish clerk, provided an update to councillors. She said: I ve reported six different areas not long after the last council meeting including Graham Street, English Street, Burn Street, Old Road, Netherby Road and particularly bad ones outside the medical centre and near the fire station at the school entrance. The biggest problem is that there are so many potholes, every time I drive I see so many. We have just got such a lot of potholes, but its not specific to this area, it s everywhere. ....

State of Bulawayo roads worry human rights group, BCC petitioned BY SILAS NKALA THE Matabeleland Institute for Human Rights (MIHR) has expressed concern over the state of roads in Bulawayo which are littered with potholes. This has prompted the civic society group to petition the Bulawayo City Council (BCC) demanding that it should fix the roads as the potholes had worsened due to the rains. In the petition sent to the BCC yesterday, the MIHR said people were not happy about the dilapidated state of the roads and wanted prompted action from the local authority as the potholes were now a menace. ....
