AnaCap completes Novia acquisition By Michael Klimes 14 th May 2021 8:53 am Private equity investor AnaCap Financial Partners (AnaCap) has completed its acquisition of platform Novia Financial (Novia). This represents AnaCap’s third acquisition in the UK wealth management platform space since 2019. In addition, Novia announces the following management changes. Mark Winlow, an experienced independent non-executive director whose previous track record includes roles at Ageas and Starling Bank respectively has been appointed as chairman of the board. Peter Cartwright, partner and head of private equity at AnaCap, Robert Massey, managing director at AnaCap alongside Ken Fry, Jane Dale and Dominic Easton will also be appointed to the board. ....
Singapore life insurer names group CIO, while investment director leaves research house Aviva Singlife The life insurance firm created by the merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife has named Kim Rosenkilde as group chief investment officer. He had already worked as an adviser to Singlife on its investment and risk management strategy throughout 2020. Prior to that, Rosenkilde held several executive roles at Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO. Square Mile Investment director Jason Broomer will leave the consultancy and research house in May 2021 to take a career break. He co-founded Square Mile in 2013 together with chief executive Richard Romer-Lee and operations director David Pickles. ....
