Jewish Federation of Cincinnati CEO, Shep Englander, is leaving to become the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee in Florida.
The organization said Englander served as CEO for 16 years and in that time proved to be an outstanding leader that built strong relationships within the community.
They credit Englander for developing their Cincinnati 2020 community vision and plan, launching one of America’s first comprehensive Jewish community security initiatives and creating the Shared Business Services.
Englander will officially leave the position on June 30. Danielle Minson will take over as president and Interim CEO beginning on July 1. As hard as it will be to leave this wonderful community, it is a good time for the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and our family, Englander said in a statement. I am confident that she and our exceptional management team and Board are poised and ready to lead our Federation.
