New Delhi [India], April 8 (ANI): Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane will meet with the three service chiefs of the Bangladesh Armed Forces during his visit to the neighbouring country.
MM Naravane on Thursday proceeded on a five-day visit to Bangladesh to enhance defence cooperation and strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
The Indian Army said that the visit will further deepen the bilateral relationships between the two Armies and act as a catalyst for closer coordination and cooperation between the two countries on a host of strategic issues.

Chief of Army Staff of Indian Army Gen Manoj Mukund Naravane arrived in Dhaka this morning on a five-day visit, on invitation from Gen Aziz Ahmed, Chief of Army Staff, Bangladesh Army.
He is accompanied by his spouse Veena Naravane and a two-member delegation, reports our diplomatic correspondent.
The Indian Army Chief is scheduled to pay courtesy calls to the Army, Navy and acting Air Force chiefs of Bangladesh and meet other senior officers of the Bangladesh Army, according to a press release issued by the High Commission of India in Dhaka. He will also be visiting various military stations.

Continuing with the excellent tradition of strong bilateral and defence ties between India and Bangladesh, Indian Army Chief General M M Naravane is on a five-day visit to Bangladesh. He left for Bangladesh on Thursday (8 April) morning.
General Naravane s visit comes in the midst of Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations which mark 50 years of the liberation of Bangladesh, made possible by the historic leadership of the Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and heroics of the Mukti Bahini who fought shoulder to shoulder with the Indian Armed Forces.
The Army Chief will pay tributes to the martyrs of the Liberation War by laying a wreath at the Shikha Anirban on Thursday.
