Refilwe Moloto speaks to Elize Porter, MD for Evergreen Health, which forms part of Evergreen Lifestyle Villages, about how they are rolling out vaccinations on day one of phase two of the country s inoculation program.

After losing more than 20 pounds, and making three trips to Evergreen Health in Kirkland for IV fluids, he said only now is he feeling the beginning of recovery.

The Jamestown Pride Steering and Planning Committees announced that Pride festivities will happen in downtown Jamestown on Saturday, June 12. The LGBTQIA+ community has historically celebrated Pride in June to commemorate the Stonewall Riots that took place in June 1969.
The day will start at 9:30 a.m. with a Pride flag raising and Pulse Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony on Tracy Plaza with Mayor Eddie Sundquist.
Jamestown Pride will be part of the Jamestown Public Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pride-themed tents will feature activities such as a “Gender Bread Person” booth, Drag Time Story Hour, and a Pronoun Button tent.
