Fazza Championships : Cameroon Finishes On Buoyant Note
The 12th Fazza International Championships-Dubai (United Arab Emirates) 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix which ran from February 6 to 14, saw Cameroonian athletes competing in the completely visually impaired category (T11) climb to the limelight. The visually impaired Cameroonian team bagged four medals including two in gold and two in silver at the end of the competition which serves as one of the seven qualifying para athletics events for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic games with over 600 para athletes from 63 countries confirmed for it.Lire aussi : Urban Music: The Strides Of Mr. Leo
Mariette Judith Lebog of is the author of the two gold medals in the female category. On February 12, 2021 Lebog won a gold medal for the 100m in 13’32” meanwhile for the 200m she finished with the same medal in 28’87”. Dubai, Feb 13 : Promising Para-athletes Navdeep and Arvind secured two quotas for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games as India s gold medal tally swelled to nine after the third day of competitions at the 12th Fazza International Championships-Dubai 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix here.
Overall, India has so far won 17 medals, including nine gold.
Friday evening was lit up by brilliant shows from Indian men javelin throwers reigning world champion Sandeep Chaudhary (F44), Ajeet Singh (F46), and Navdeep (F41), who were later joined by Pranav Prashant Desai with a gold in men s 200m F64.

Dubai, Feb 9 : Reigning world champions Sundar Singh Gurjar and Sandeep Chaudhary will lead the Indian challenge at the 12th Fazza International Championships Dubai 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix starting on Wednesday.
Both Gurjar (F46) and Chaudhary (F44), both Para Javelin throwers, will return to their happy hunting ground, the Dubai Club for People of Determination grounds, as the 39-member Indian side look to secure Tokyo 2020 qualifying slots. India already has secured 12 quotas in Para Athletics.
