I second the recent letter writer who found the Concord Trail Guidebook to be a fantastic resource for walking and hiking trails supported by the City and the Concord Conservation Commission. I consider it the best $7 I have spent since moving here two years ago.
The guidebook, available at City Hall, provides the maps and directions to trailheads, but it is the well-marked and well-maintained trails themselves that provide so many beautiful forest walks accessible from all parts of the city, from several beautiful trails in the northern regions along the Contoocook River, to the southern trails, including the interpretive trail in the Upton Morgan State Forest and the gorgeous trails of the Silk Farm Audubon Center. ....
