New Industrial Scheme J&K: Guidelines unveiled for availing benefits

Jammu Tawi, Apr 05: The Government of India has unveiled operational guidelines for registration of units under the new central sector scheme for industrial development of Jammu & Kashmir.
According to the guidelines, registration of units under the scheme shall commence from April 1, 2021 and will continue till September 30, 2024. “All application for registration shall be disposed of by 31.03.2025 unless otherwise extended,” reads the guidelines.
Those willing to avail incentive(s) under the scheme have to apply for registration through online portal (jknis.dipp.gov.in) along with detailed project report, land documents bank loan sanction letter and other documents. ....

A Delhi Court recently denied bail to one Preet Pal Singh, a 37 year old man, who was allegedly seen in the photographs and videos carrying a big sword and waving the same at the rampat of Red Fort on 26th January in connection with the violence that broke out in the National capital in the wake of farmer s protest tractor rally.
