In a landmark decision, University of Jammu inked Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Racemix Molecules Pvt. Ltd, Gurugram, Haryana, India (A subsidiary of Anphar Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Jammu). Anphar Laboratories Pvt Ltd. is engaged in the manufacturing and export of bulk drugs. JU created Industry Academia Partnership Centre (IAPC) under RUSA 2.0 to build industry-academia partnership and to inculcate industry based skills in the students and researchers of the University. For realizing these objectives, JU has entered into collaboration with Racemix; the latter will provide skill based training at JU and its affiliated colleges. Further, emphasis will be laid on developing process for drugs and intermediates which are imported from other countries.
