Loaded, Unregistered Revolver Recovered After Routine Canyon Country Traffic Stop A Santa Paula man was arrested Saturday evening on two felony weapon charges after deputies found a loaded and unregistered revolver during a routine traffic stop in Canyon Country. Around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies conducted a traffic stop on the 28400 block of Sand Canyon Road in Canyon Country on a vehicle with an expired registration, wrote Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, in an official post Tuesday. Due to the vehicle being towed in the last six months for being unregistered, deputies conducted an “inventory search” for the vehicle, according to Arriaga. ....
