Vodafone Idea: Trai data shows Vodafone Idea actually lost 2.3 million users

Trai released a corrigendum to telecom subscription data for the month of January citing an “inadvertent error” made by Vodafone Idea for reporting its subscribers in the Uttar Pradesh (West) circle.
As per Trai data released earlier this month, Vodafone Idea had added 1.7 million wireless customers in January, for the first time in 14 months.
Trai has released the revised figures for January’s telecom subscribers showing that
Vodafone Idea has lost 2.3 million wireless users instead of a gain of 1.7 million, which was posted by the telco due to an “inadvertent error”.

reel, meaning they can upload a video next to another user s, building on top of the original clip.
The feature is already popular on TikTok, often for dance challenges, under the duet function.

Alibaba : RBI orders MobiKwik to probe alleged data leak

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India s central bank has ordered digital payments firm MobiKwik to probe allegations that data of its 110 million users was breached, and warned that the company will face fines if lapses are found, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told Reuters on Thursday.
MobiKwik, which is backed by Sequoia Capital and India s Bajaj Finance, has faced growing criticism this week for denying a leak many customers and digital rights activists say is linked to the company s database.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was not happy with the company s initial response and has asked it to act immediately, said the source, who declined to be named as the discussion between the RBI and the company was private. ....

(Togo First) - Last week, Togocom’s MD, Paulin Alazard, revealed that the operator has deployed its 5G technology at the International Port of Lomé, in the Administrative Area, and Adétikopé’s Industrial Platform. This was during a session where the group presented the various actions it undertook to improve its services over the past 10 months.
Besides this revelation, Alazard noted that its coverage expanded as a result of the construction of 144 new relay points. Data disclosed show that the number of Togo’s fiber users almost doubled, while T-Money transactions soared by 79%, in volume, whereas the number of people using the mobile money platform grew by 50% over the period reviewed. ....
