Hingert will undergo a recovery period after sustaining a hamstring injury which ruled him out of Sunday s match against Melbourne City. His replacement, Burke-Gilroy, joins the Roar from NPL Victoria side Altona Magic until the end of the A-League 2020/21 Season. The 23-year-old full-back grew up in Newcastle and has had stints in Portugal and the United States, where he played for Tacoma Defiance while sharing a house with Roar midfielder Jesse Daley. The experienced midfielder has marshalled the Roar midfield throughout his 31-game tenure at the Club and is fast becoming one of the league’s most creative influences. The opportunity to extend his stay in Australia, and at Brisbane Roar, was one O’Shea was quick to grab. “Since Day 1, I have loved every minute.
