Chase leads to crash, multiple charges for Perry County man

An eastern Kentucky man is facing multiple felony charges after leading local deputies in a pursuit Friday evening.
Johnny Dylan Turner, 21, of Hazard, was arrested and charged with first-degree Fleeing or Evading Police (Motor Vehicle), first-degree Wanton Endangerment (Police Officer), first-degree Wanton Endangerment, second-degree Fleeing or Evading Police (On Foot), Tampering with Physical Evidence, Speeding (25 mph over Limit), aggravated Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs (first offense), Operating Vehicle with Expired Operators License, and Failure of Owner to Maintain Insurance (first offense).
According to Turner s arrest citation, the incident began in Somerset at approximately 6:44 p.m. Friday when Pulaski County Deputy Sheriff Trent Massey saw a 2014 Hyundai Veloster cross the center line on Jarvis Avenue with its left tires. A pipe bomb and an undisclosed amount of suspected methamphetamine have been seized, and one suspect is in jail following contact with Wyoming law enforcement.
The Rock Springs Police Department released a written statement Tuesday regarding the arrest of Spencer Cottrell who has been recommended for charges of Driving While License Suspended, Failure to Maintain Insurance, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude, Interference with a Peace Officer, and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
Officers of the Rock Springs Police Department say they initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Walnut Street in Rock Springs, February 14, 2021, at approximately 9:00 pm. ....

Wyoming Police Say Man Tried To Outrun Officers In Stolen Prius
According to the post, the incident began at 11:38 p.m. when police were notified by a taxi company that they had delivered gas to a man whose Toyota Prius had run out of gas.
The company reported that the man had left the scene without paying for the gas. Police soon spotted the Prius traveling at a high rate of speed, and tried to stop the vehicle, but were unsuccessful.
The chase continued until the Prius went down a dead-end road and came to a stop. The driver was then identified as 22-year-old Orlando Wilson of Beloit, Wisconsin. Police say they soon learned that the Prius had been reported stolen from a dealership in Colorado. ....
