The government on Saturday stated that avian influenza in poultry brids has been confirmed in nine states so far including Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
The avian influenza in crow/migratory/wild birds has been confirmed in 12 states.

The Centre has said the bird flu has been confirmed in poultry birds in five states so far,  while nine states have reported the disease in crows, and migratory and wild birds.
