The Women s Network started with a chapter at SU’s campus, with the purpose of providing young women with professional and personal development opportunities. The network later expanded to neighboring Cornell University in Ithaca. Now, they have 42 chapters across the country with over 16,000 members.

Dr. Michael Licari selected as 11th president of Austin Peay State University

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Dr. Michael Licari has been selected to serve as Austin Peay State University’s 11th President. The Board of Trustees voted 10-1 to approve Licari’s appointment.
Licari was selected by the APSU Presidential Search Committee from over 100 applicants, including two other finalists, Interim President Dannelle Whiteside and Dr. Jaime Taylor.
Licari is provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs for Indiana State University. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
He previously served as Professor of Political Science at Indiana State University, the University of Northern Iowa and State University of New York Binghamton. ....
