Local Talk for February 26 included a story about renaming the Creek going through Ames to Ioway Creek. Board of Supervisor Chair, Linda Murken related the history of the renaming process to Ioway Creek. Tribal Preservation historian, Lance Foster honored the airwaves with Ioway history, justification for renaming the creek, and an update of current Ioway activities.  The Ioway Nation perseveres.  Susan Gwiasda with City of Ames segment included Justin Clausen talking about major efforts dealing with snow and water related issues in light of the Texas snowstorm and water debacle.  Anna Banana featured a Carole Pluckrose selection from Maya Angelou. ....
