Data from the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reveals there were 1,818 drug overdose deaths in 2018, the highest total since 2014. Multi-vehicle crash on I-24 near Old Hickory Boulevard closes eastbound lanes for several hours

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â An early Saturday morning crash had closed the eastbound lanes of I-24 at mile marker 62, near Old Hickory Boulevard. The lanes have since been reopened.
Officials from the Tennessee Department of Transportation confirm the crash is due to icy conditions on the road.
Multiple patients injured in the incident have been taken to area hospitals for treatment.
While Metro police say 18 vehicles were involved in the crash, Nashville Fire (NFD) has reported it was 21 vehicles. NFD also reports 12 injured in the crash were taken to area hospitals for treatment. None of the injuries have been reported as critical. ....
