Now a deputy manager in the company’s HR department, she describes it as “a blessing for a working mother like me”.
The need for an on-site daycare centre was born several years ago, when analytics showed that a large number of women quit their jobs or were reluctant to join the workforce due to inadequate childcare support. PTCL Signs Agreement with NIFT for Secure Bill Payment Options for Its Customers
Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL), signed an agreement with National Institutional Facilitation Technologies (NIFT), to enable and promote its online platform that will allow customers to pay their bills online conveniently and securely through NIFT’s ePay digital payment gateway on PTCL’s website.
The agreement was signed by Muhammad Amir Siddiqi, EVP Group Financial Planning & Treasury, PTCL and Haider Wahab, CEO, NIFT. Being one of the largest payment processors in Pakistan, NIFT enables secure digital commerce payments through its DFS platform, under the brand name ‘NIFT ePay’. ....

PTCL posts Rs1.606bln profit in Q12021

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) posted a net profit of Rs1.606 billion during the quarter ended March 31, 2021, showing seven percent growth in revenues for the first time since Q1 of 2014, a statement said.
The company posted a loss of Rs406.724 million during the same period last year.
The company did not announce any cash dividend. “The significant growth in revenues was mainly driven by strong performance in consumer segment and continued growth momentum in business services that supported PTCL in posting seven percent growth in revenues for the first time since Q1 of 2014. This was achieved despite the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic,” the statement said. ....

THE information technology has changed the living trends globally, but Pakistan has a different tale to tell. The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), being the pioneer and leading service provider in the country, is cutting a sorry figure for some time with poor service provision, frequent price hikes in packages, ignoring rural areas in inclusive upgradation and misleading its consumers.
I am based in Hafizabad (User number: 0547-534035), and have been using the PTCL services for the last two decades. Despite paying hefty charges and taxes, I cannot achieve downloading speeds beyond 3Mbps.
It is disappointing that the PTCL charges Rs1,710 for 3Mbps and Rs1,790 for 6Mbps ((excluding taxes). ....
