Messick s Christmas Light Show in Elizabethtown, Pa., raised a total of $62,006 from 5,462 cars that attended the event.
The event set record numbers with more than a 25 percent rise in attendance and more than 50 percent increase in donations from previous years.
For 2020, the show was open to the public as a drive-in show that ran every evening from Dec. 3 through 30 with the help of volunteers who run the show and collect donations for local charities. This marks the eighth year for Messick s Christmas Light Show in Elizabethtown and more than $316,000 in total donations collected since it first started in 2012. ....

Messick's Farm Equipment Christmas Light Show Fundraiser Returns

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. â Messickâs Equipment is bringing back its popular Christmas light show to benefit local charities.
The show is free and open to the public; just drive up and enjoy the festive display of tractors and lights set to Christmas music, all from the comfort of your car.
Last year, Messickâs collected $45,368.40 in donations, bringing its six-year charity drive total to $212,712.02.
The show features over 70,000 lights choreographed to music broadcast on FM radio. Dozens of tractors are integrated into the show by using the machinesâ headlights as part of the display.
Throughout the show, volunteers will be collecting donations to benefit five local charities. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to Mennonite Disaster Service, Elizabethtown Community Housing and Outreach Services, Paxton Ministries and the Water Street Rescue Mission. ....
