India s Central Bureau of Investigation today filed a charge sheet against former Border Security Force Commandant Sathish Kumar and six other persons for their alleged involvement in a cattle smuggling racket operating at border with Bangladesh, officials said.
The charge sheet has been filed before a special court in West Bengal s Asansol town against Kumar, who was the head of 36 Battalion BSF at that time, main accused Enamul Haque, Anwarul Sheikh, Golam Mustafa, Taniya Sanyal, Badal Krishna Sanyal and Rashida Bibi, the officials said. ....

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed its first chargesheet in the cross border cattle smuggling case, sources said. Interestingly, the agency has not named TMC leader and Abhishek Banerjee close aide Vinay Mishra in the chargesheet as accused who was recently raided and summoned by CBI for questioning.
Among those named in chargesheet as accused are Satish Kumar, who was the commandant of Border Security Force (BSF) when the alleged cattle smuggling took place, smugglers Enamul Haque, Anarul Sheikh, Gulam Mustafa - along with Tania Kumar, Rasida Bibi and Badal Krishna Sanyal. ....

New Delhi, Feb 8 : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday filed a charge sheet against seven persons, including then BSF Commandant Satish Kumar in connection with a cross-border cattle smuggling case.
A CBI official said here that others named included Mohammad Enamul Haque, Anarul Seikh, Mohammad Golam Mustafa, Taniya Sanyal, Badal Krishna Sanyal, and Rashida Bibi. The charge sheet was filed in a special court in West Bengal s Asansol. ....
