That’s what Betty Anne and Bob Bevis have done for their three grandchildren this past year at their farm in Marstons Mills. The kids’ parents work full-time jobs, Betty Anne Bevis said their daughter-in-law is an emergency room nurse at Cape Cod Hospital and their son runs the Barnstable County dredge so having another place for the 2-, 5- and 6-year-olds to learn and play has made life easier, and safer, for the entire clan. “They’re fortunate that they have us and we can take care of them,” she said. “But we’re more fortunate, I think, to be able to spend time with them.” ....
