Two small airplanes collided in midair Wednesday near Denver, leaving one aircraft nearly ripped in half and forcing the pilot of the other to deploy a parachute attached to the plane to land safely. Remarkably, no one was injured, officials said.
Both planes were getting ready to land at a small regional airport in a Denver suburb when they collided mid-morning, according to the National Transportation Safety Board and South Metro Fire Rescue. ....

Many will know Amanda Kennedy as one half of the hugely successful musical comedy duo The Fan Brigade. Yet fans coming along to her debut solo show and expecting the RSA song on loop for
60 minutes will be in for a surprise. Aside from one song at the end, Kennedy has left the ukulele behind for a straight hour of stand-up in what may be one of the filthiest and funniest hours of the festival.
Bumbshell is all about Kennedy s white trash family – or, at least it was before they all found out and decided to come along to the show. Some in the crowd on opening night were addressed by name, and it felt like Kennedy had some hesitancy about going fully in on her family right in front of them in the Sweat Shop s very intimate back room. ....

May 12, 2021COLEBROOK The Kiwanis Club of Colebrook is pleased to announce that the seventh annual NH-VT Covered Bridge Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, June 19. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year s race was cancelled. Since the race route includes miles in both states, the Race Committee has worked to make sure it will meet each state s different COVID restrictions still in place to ensure the health and safety of the runners, volunteers, and spectators.
As a result, the race will look different this year. Start times will utilize a self-reported time-trial format with staggered starts times. Masks and social distancing will be required when not running. To minimize person to person contact, the race will not be able to provide the Fun Walk or Relay Team events, finisher medals, or the traditional Finish Line festivities such as the awards ceremony, live bluegrass music, food booth and complimentary massa ....
