Memorial Health Systems expects to complete distributing its first round of COVID-19 vaccine within the next three weeks after receiving more than 6,000 doses since Dec. 16.
About 524 Passavant Area Hospital staff members have received the vaccination, along with 1,298 at Memorial Medical Center, 866 at Decatur Memorial Hospital, 260 at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln and 141 at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital. ....

Passavant Area Hospital President Scott Boston was one of the first front-line workers to receive Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine Thursday.
“It was like any other injection,” Boston said during a news conference later.
Passavant, one of five hospitals in the Memorial Health System, received 440 doses Wednesday and has five days to administer the vaccinations to front-line workers and those living in long-term care facilities.
