A statue to remember the fallen soldiers of WWI has been put up in two Buckinghamshire towns. A total of 760 homes are being built at the site. The development is expected to support more than 2,000 jobs and represents £6.5m of investment in the Bridport area. Bridport Town Council and Symondsbury Parish Council have established a stakeholder group to liaise with developers. The Vearse Farm Working Group includes a range of local organisations, and at a meeting this month they were introduced to the developers of housing and other infrastructure at the site, Vistry Partnerships and Barratt & David Wilson Homes. ....
