It's officially Summer Olympics season and there is so much to get excited about! I, for one, am excited to watch the gymnastics and swimming meets. I am rooting for Simone Biles to win everything, and I am also hoping any member of Team USA brings home some medals from Tokyo! The Paralympics will be taking place right after the ones in Tokyo and this reminds me of the Olympian from Yakima that you may not know of. His name is Josh Elliott and he went to Davis High School and graduated in 2000 (Davis Pirates represent!) He competed in the 2018 Winter Paralympics hosted in South Korea. He is a genius in the downhill ski races. Josh doesn't compete anymore from what I understand, but his legacy will last a lifetime!

PVH Corp is set to rapidly grow the presence of Nike Underwear in Australia in the upcoming season.
PVH Corp introduced the Nike branded underwear into Australia and New Zealand in October 2020, and following rapid growth, has planned a 200% increase in doors for the garments.
Currently, Nike Underwear is available in select retailers across ANZ including Nike owned stores, Rebel Sport, The Iconic, Culture Kings, JD Sports, City Beach, Myer and David Jones.
The news of expansion comes as the brand announces its new brand ambassador for its men's underwear.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Two more Lobos, former and current, from The University of New Mexico track and field team have punched their tickets to the Tokyo Olympics. Adva Cohen will represent Israel in the 3000m steeplechase, and Django Lovett will represent Canada in the high jump.
Cohen earned a spot on the Israeli team based on her world ranking. She currently sits 40th in the world in the event and holds a personal-best time of 9:29.74, which she set in 2018.
At the Canadian 2021 Olympic and Paralympic Track and Field Trials in Montreal, Lovett clinched a first-place finish after clearing the 2.33m mark.

These wheels have seen 24 year old Justin Fangs van through a lot a gold medal at the Pan American Games, a newly achieved world record and seated Javelin and soon Tokyo for the 2020 Paralympics. I never thought that would be an elite athlete. To understand why a man who holds a world record felt that way. You have to know his story. Justin was shot in this McDonald's parking lot in Anthony back in 2015, the bullet hit his spine, paralyzing him from the waist down. If I do drive by the place where you know everything happened, doesn't really bring up any bad emotions or anything because Justin is focused on his mission, which began at adaptive sports Iowa after he recovered, he started out in our track and field program and decided it was totally for him, Whether it's cycling, hockey or tennis. The more than 300 island with the program are on the go. Not letting anything slow them down. The organization's mission to empower islands the physical disabilities and we provide all of the adaptive equipment that they may need um, in order to do the sports that they're doing. It's where Justin received his first javelin throwing gear, which eventually led him to San Diego in 2019 to start training. We train just as hard as the Olympians. We train the same facilities and we are on the same stage. Earlier this month, Justin Fangman qualified for the Paralympics. He'll travel without his loved ones like girlfriend Bethany nelson due to pandemic restrictions. Justin disappointed about that. But more than anything, he's excited for this opportunity not to make a name for himself, but to share his message with others across the world.
