Speaking in Senate on the bill, he said the legislation would benefit all projects of Pakistan Railways besides increasing local and foreign investment.
He thanked all the senators for supporting the bill and also congratulated the nation, traders, investors and said it was the great achievement during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf tenure. ....

Cabinet approves review body on TLP ban, special visa package for CPEC

ISLAMABAD: Federal cabinet on Tuesday approved the formation of a committee for reviewing the ban on Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), special visa package for Chinese related to the CPEC project besides being briefed on electoral reforms, ARY NEWS reported.
Sharing decisions taken by the 226th meeting of the cabinet during the incumbent tenure, Fawad Chaudhry said that it was most meetings by any government as previously 23 meetings were held in PML-N tenure while no cabinet committee meetings being held in PPP tenure.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan lauded the economic team over surpassing the economic growth target. “The economy is now moving towards stability,” he said as the government projected a nearly four percent growth rate for the outgoing year. ....

Pakistan’s legendary artist Farooq Qaiser alias Uncle Sargam has passed away due to cardiac arrest, his family confirmed. His grandson, Hasnain Qaiser Iqbal, said Farooq Qaiser had been suffering from a heart ailment for some time. He said that his condition worsened after which an ambulance rushed him to a hospital but he could not be revived.
Farooq Qaiser is survived by three children, a son and two daughters. He was born in Lahore on Oct.31, 1945, and was educated at the National College of Arts. He also obtained a Master s in Graphic Arts from Romania in 1976 and another postgraduate degree in Mass Communication from the University of Southern California, USA, in 1999. ....
