NEW HYDE PARK, NY They are willing to commit furr-ever, but in the meantime, they just need a little TLC. Volunteers from the Give Me Shelter Project cat rescue are hoping to find permanent homes for Valentine s Day for two lovable female cats being fostered in New Hyde Park.
First up is Madam FeFe, whose life has turned around after a tragic start. The 2-year-old tabby cat was found in a run-down neighborhood with her three kittens in the middle of a blizzard. She and the kittens were soaked and sick; she ended up with an upper respiratory tract infection, and her three kittens died. ....
