The trio had many charities they wanted to support, but went with CMHA because of recent demands for mental health services locally following the 2016 Horse River Wildfire, the April 2020 flood and the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is the second year Keys, along with his brother Daniel and friend Lyndsey Janes, walked 100,000 steps in a day, but this was the first time they decided to raise money for a local non-profit. ....

RCMP Charge 29-Year-Old Man For 'Slime' Graffiti Tag

Wood Buffalo RCMP are charging a 29-year-old Fort McMurray man for allegedly spray painting multiple graffiti tags.
On July 4, the Mounties received a complaint about a man vandalizing the Parsons Creek Bridge.
After investigating, the police ended up arresting Christopher Robin Kelly.
According to the Mounties, he’s responsible for using the tag ‘Slime.’
The RCMP know of two incidents and have since charged Kelly with mischief over $5,000 and mischief under $5,000.
He was also charged with operating a motor vehicle without registration and without a licence.
Kelly has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on August 25, 2021. ....
