NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – An informal summit of the Turkic Council is set to take place on March 31, 2021, in the city of Turkestan, Kazakhstan, at the initiative of First President – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazinform cites the official Telegram channel of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It is said that all the Heads of the Turkic Council member States and the Prime Minister of Hungary, which is an observer State, have confirmed their participation in the Organization’s informal Summit.

Art Dubai, the Middle East’s leading art fair, will stage its 14th edition in a purpose-built venue at the iconic Gate Building in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) from March 29 to April 3.
Art Dubai will operate at the highest Covid-19 safety protocols; alongside standard procedures, including regular testing of participants, the fair has introduced extra precautions to manage capacity and offer a safe and flexible environment for all.
These include extending the opening hours, adding an extra fair day and the newly launched Art Dubai App will allow visitors to book dedicated time slots in advance to guarantee entry. ....

USU professors study social distancing in national parks

When the COVID-19 pandemic shut down businesses, schools and gathering places last year, many people turned to the outdoors for an escape. But the increase in visitors to places like national parks meant social distancing became a challenge in these places too.
In order to reduce the impact of visitors on national parks, park infrastructure, like roads and visitors centers, funnel visitors to certain areas. Which meant when park visitation increased during the pandemic, so did human traffic at these concentrated spots.
âWe developed the components of the study to answer that question: can people still socially distance in a crowded national park?â said Dr. Zach Miller, who is a Utah State University professor with the Institute of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism. ....
