A barrister who falsely accused her married lover of rape and then arranged to be stabbed in order to frame him, has been jailed for life.
Anisah Ahmed, 33, embarked on a twisted plot to destroy fellow lawyer Iqbal Mohammed s life, after discovering he was married in 2014.
The couple met after she contacted him when he appeared in a BBC documentary called The Barristers and they began an intimate relationship. ....

A scorned barrister jailed for orchestrating a malicious plot against her ex-lover was kicked out of the legal profession after lying about her qualifications and work experience, MailOnline can reveal.
Yesterday, Anisah Ahmed, 33 was found guilty of mounting a comprehensive revenge campaign against barrister Iqbal Mohammed after she found out he was married.
This included making false rape allegations against him and stabbing herself so that it appeared that he had attacked her.
Mohammed, 38 compared his ordeal to the 1987 thriller Fatal Attraction, explaining he had been unable to watch the film as it was just like what happened to me. ....

A scorned barrister who cried rape in an evil and malicious plot to frame her ex-lover after she found out he was married has today been jailed.
Anisah Ahmed, 33, staged her own kidnapping and stabbing in a comprehensive and orchestrated revenge campaign against fellow barrister Iqbal Mohammed.
The manipulative woman also attempted to frame Mohammed, 38, for rape, claiming he had sexually assaulted her on several occasions in a detailed and convincing false report.
Ahmed later recruited her ex-boyfriend Mustafa Hussain, 34, to buy a phone in the victim s name to support her fake allegation that she had received threatening phone calls from Mohammed. ....

Oxford lawyer given life sentence after falsely claiming she was raped

A WOMAN barrister who cried rape in a plot to frame her lover after she discovered he was married has been given a life sentence.
Oxford lawyer Anisah Ahmed set up an ‘evil’ campaign of lies, falsely claiming she was raped as well as staging her own kidnapping and stabbing, a judge heard this morning.
The twisted plot began in 2014 when qualified barrister Ahmed, of Wilkins Road, Cowley, found out her lover, fellow barrister Iqbal Mohammed, was married.
Sitting at Oxford Crown Court, Judge Michael Gledhill QC said: It appears that Ahmed had no idea that Mohammed was married.
“When she found out, she felt utterly betrayed and took her revenge by putting into effect a comprehensive and orchestrated plan to destroy him – both professionally and personally. ....
