Recently, I was watching a news story about the efforts to restore and rebuild Notre Dame in Paris.
It has been two years since the devastating fire that brought down the spire and much of the roof of that landmark. No matter what your beliefs, that edifice, which is one of the best examples of French Gothic architecture, has portions that date back 850 years. Its use of a flying buttress and vault system is a wonderful example from the Renaissance, and the importance of this church is to not only Paris, but the world. That fire nearly destroyed this centuries-old religious structure. ....

Angelo Mastrangelo is probably best known as the former owner of the Adirondack line of sodas and his creation of the Waist Watchers brand.
