Coronavirus cases have increased in Harrow as the borough saw a week-on-week rise in its seven-day infection rate. The borough recorded a rate of 40.6 cases of the virus per 100,000 people in the week to April 12, which is up from a rate of 30.7 in the previous seven days. It comes after lockdown restrictions eased further on March 29, allowing outdoor mixing in groups of six or up to two households. One of the worst affected areas in Harrow is Kenton West, which recorded 16 cases in the seven days to April 11 – this is a jump of 14 cases from the previous week. Greenhill South and Queensbury South recorded eight cases in the same time period, Belmont saw seven and Wealdstone North, Kingsbury West and South Harrow recorded six new cases. ....

Latest figures from the Government showed in the seven days prior to March 11, there were fewer than three recorded cases in five Harrow regions – Canons Park, Pinner Green, Harrow Weald, Rayners Lane South, and Hatch End North. In neighbouring Brent, the same data was presented in Kensal Green, Dudden Hill, Neasden, Cricklewood Anson Road, Welsh Harp, Forty Lane, and Alperton East.
