What was originally a $220 million housing-office project is now scaled-down, in part due to financing challenges and, later, the market forces of the pandemic.The redesign won approval from Burlington s Development Review Board in a 5-0 vote Wednesday evening. A legal settlement with the developer won unanimous approval from the city council last month. Downtown business leaders and Mayor Miro Weinberger support the plan. But John Franco, a lawyer who represents four city residents who have sued repeatedly said the latest design would be a disaster.
