Music from Land's End returns to Marion

MARION After a one-year hiatus, Music from Land’s End was back in Marion on Saturday, July 24 for a pair of classical music performances featuring quartet pieces by Mozart and Brahms.
“It’s wonderful [being back],” said Ariadne Daskalakis who directed and played violin in the concert. “It’s very moving.”
The show marked the 9th year of the Music from Lands End festival which started in 2012 and features concerts in New Bedford, Wareham and Marion.
Daskalakis has spent her summers in Wareham since her childhood growing up in Boston. Though she now lives in Germany where she is a professor and artistic vice-president at the Cologne Conservatory she said she still summers in Wareham nearly every year. ....
