New Delhi [India], June 5 (ANI):A plea has been filed in the Delhi High Court on Saturday challenging CBSE notification on mode of assessment of Class X students apprehending that it poses a real danger to the health and well-being of the members of the Result Committee, other teachers and staff members.
The plea was filed by NISA Education Regd through advocate Ravi Prakash Gupta.
Advocate Gupta told a single judge bench of Justice Prateek Jalan, that on May 1 respondent-Central Board of Secondary Education issued notification with regard to the mode of assessment of Class X students, in view of the cancellation of the Class X board examinations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. ....

The Allahabad High Court recently dismissed a writ petition filed by the All UP Stamp Vendors Association, seeking continuation of judicial and non-judicial stamp paper in its physical form.
A Single Bench of
Justice Yashwant Varma dismissed the Association s contention that discontinuation of paper stamps by the State Government violates the constitutional protections guaranteed by Articles 19(1)(g), 21 and 38 of the Constitution.
At the outset, it was observed that merely because the Government has introduced E-Stamping Rules, does not show that it has discontinued the use of physical stamp altogether. Even otherwise, the Association s members right to deal in stamps is not a right but it is founded exclusively on the license granted under the UP Stamp Rules 1942. ....

According to the appellant, the aforesaid decision was not communicated to her and it was only on 3rd July, 2013 in response to an RTI query that she learnt of the decision.
She filed an appeal but was also not again communicated the result of that appeal. In the meanwhile, respondent No.3/O.P.Verma retired.
She, therefore, filed the writ petition challenging the recommendation of 20th January, 2012 but the same was dismissed by the learned Single Judge. ....
