Brasilia, Apr 30 (Prensa Latina) The Brazil-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group strongly rejected the attack and US silence on the one-year anniversary of gunfire attack on Cuba s embassy in Washington.
Without having given measures or satisfactions to the United States and international organizations, we express to national and international public opinion our rejection of the attack, as well as to the silence of the US authorities, the legislative body stated.
Made up of 65 deputies and 12 senators, the legislative body recalls that in the attack 32 semi-automatic rifle rounds were fired at the embassy, putting the Cuban diplomatic mission safety at risk, as well as officials and relatives. ....
