Flair Airlines, which offers service in 10 communities, will arrive in Saint John on May 1. The ultra-low-cost carrier (ULCC) will offer flights between Saint John and Toronto on Tuesdays and Saturdays. “Providing affordable air travel within Canada is the first step in restarting travel and tourism, and Flair is uniquely positioned with the efficiencies of our low-cost model,” Stephen Jones, president and CEO, said in “When non-essential travel returns, Flair will be there to reconnect families and provide the low fares that have long been denied to Canadians.” ....

If there are bales with black wool taking up space in someone s shed, they are happy to accept them as well. Campaign organisers Brooke Cameron, of Mokoreta, Sarah Dooley, of Mimihau, and Amy Blaikie, of Slopedown, launched the campaign in early October. The wool will be processed and turned into insulation for the Southland Charity Hospital, or sold, with funds used to pay for various items such as wool blankets for the charity s beds. ....
