The Beachwood Medical Center at the corner of Chagrin Boulevard and Richmond Road has changed hands in a $58.3 million deal.
The Beachwood Medical Center, 25501 Chagrin Blvd., has been sold by its local ownership to Montecito Medical, a Nashville-based specialist in medical properties, for $58.3 million, according to Cuyahoga County land records.
The seller was Manna Isle LLC of Cleveland, a physician-led investor group that developed the 69,800-square-foot property in 2019 and was later joined first by Lake Health and then University Hospitals of Cleveland in the operation.
The transaction leaves the operating partnership of the property unchanged as it is principally controlled by Lake Health and UH, according to a release on the transaction. Separately, Lake Health merged operations into UH last month. ....

Montecito Medical has completed the acquisition of an outpatient-oriented surgical facility in the Cleveland suburb of Beachwood, Ohio.
Beachwood Medical Center, which was built in 2019, encompasses 69,800 square feet and is 100 percent leased to an operating entity owned predominantly by two market-dominant health systems, Lake Health and University Hospitals.
The surgical facility specializes in orthopedics, urology, spine, general surgery and pain management. Most of the hospital’s surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis, with elective procedures representing 75 percent of the surgical volume.
The two-story facility, which also offers physical therapy, advanced imaging and a 24/7 emergency department, includes eight operating rooms, two procedure rooms and 25 patient beds. The hospital has a medical staff of more than 200, including 56 operating physi ....
