2020’s Hurricane Zeta upgraded to Category 3 at landfall and makes history in the process

Hurricane Zeta made landfall in Louisiana on Oct. 28, 2020. It has since been upgraded to a Category 3 hurricane.

The National Hurricane Center released its official write-up on Zeta on Tuesday, and forecasters said it was actually a Category 3 (or major) hurricane at landfall after post-storm analysis (it had been rated a Category 2):
The Tropical Cyclone Report for Hurricane #Zeta (October 24-29, 2020) has been posted on the NHC website.
