A north Idaho woman was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle collision Thursday night near Moscow.
Idaho State Police say 75-year-old Calleen White of Coeur d’Alene was one of two passengers traveling north on U.S. Highway 95 in a 2000 Nissan Altima driven by 24-year-old Haileyh Dismukes of Post Falls.
The car was approaching the intersection with Eid Road, a few miles south of town, at about 7:40 p.m. At the same time, a 2005 Pontiac Vibe driven by 47-year-old Stacey Davis of Moscow was approaching the intersection from the north.
Davis tried to turn left onto Eid Road as Dismukes approached, and their vehicles collided head on.
A 75-year-old Coeur dâAlene woman died following a two-car collision south of Moscow Thursday night.
Passenger Calleen White died after the vehicles collided head-on at 7:36 p.m. near the intersection of Eid Road and U.S. Highway 95, according to Idaho State Police.
Hailey Dismukes, 24, of Post Falls, was traveling north in a 2000 Nissan Altima, accompanied by White and Brock Montee, 32, of Post Falls. Dismukeâs vehicle collided with a 2005 Pontiac Vibe, driven by Stacey Davis, 47, of Moscow, as it attempted to turn left onto Eid Road.
Davis was traveling south on U.S. Highway 95 when accident occurred.
Dismukes and her passengers were transported to Gritman Medical Center via ambulance, where White was pronounced dead, police reported. Davis was transported to Gritman in a personal vehicle.
