The positive case was confirmed by Southwestern Public Health and Thames Valley immediately notified staff, and parents and guardians of all Lockeâs students. SWPH is currently investigating the case and is in the process of identifying close contacts. There are currently 4 active cases at Davenport Public School, 2 at Summersâ Corners Public School, 2 case at Parkside Collegiate Institute, and 1 case each at June Rose Callwood Public School, Mitchell Hepburn Public School, John Wise Public School, Kettle Creek Public School, Eva Circe Cote French Immersion Public School, and East Elgin Secondary School.

St. Thomas, ON, Canada / 94.1 St.ThomasToday.ca Dec 23, 2020 11:08 PM The Thames Valley District School Board this evening (Wednesday) reported a number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in St. Thomas and Elgin county schools. There is one new case each at Davenport Public School and East Elgin Secondary School in Aylmer, at June Rose Callwood and Mitch Hepburn public schools in St. Thomas, Parkside Collegiate Institute in St. Thomas, Summers Corners Public School and Kettle Creek Public School in Port Stanley. A case has also been reported at Eva Circe Cote French Immersion Public School in Sparta. The school board has notified all staff, parents and guardians of affected school communities. The health unit is investigating cases to identify close contacts and will follow up directly to provide specific testing advice.

The TVDSB report 2 more cases at Davenport in Aylmer bringing the total to 4 active cases, with an outbreak declared as a result. A single case of COVID-19 was reported at John Wise Public School in St. Thomas. The positive cases were confirmed by Southwestern Public Health and Thames Valley immediately notified staff, and parents and guardians of all students at both schools. SWPH is currently investigating the cases and is in the process of identifying close contacts.
